Bike Hire
We pride ourselves on running a hire fleet which offers quality and great value for money, and are meticulous about our servicing schedules so every bike hired out is in perfect working condition. We often customise our hire bikes to make sure you get the best possible ride – for example by upgrading contact points like grips, tyres and saddles. All bikes are supplied with a repair kit, pump and optional cycle computer. Helmets are also available free of charge.
Mountain Bikes

A great entry-level MTB for riding the local trails here in the Brecon Beacons National Park, or simply cycling along the canal towpath on a family ride. For a hire bike, our standard MTBs have an excellent spec:

- Hydraulic disc brakes for fast and accurate stopping
- Shimano gears for reliable and easy gear shifting
- Puncture resistant tyres – we fit these to minimise your chance of a flat tyre!
- Lock-on grips to keep your hands and the bike where you want them

Our higher-spec Genesis Latitude MTBs are perfect for more demanding riding conditions – or riders! The steel frame offers a comfortable and responsive ride, and is a pleasure to ride on the rough and muddy stuff which is our speciality here in Wales:

- Rockshox Recon front suspension fork (100mm travel)
- Shimano SLX transmission
- DMR V8 flat pedals – we fit these to give you extra grip but are happy to swap out pedals for SPDs if you prefer

Touring Bikes

Our steel framed tourers will take you as far as you want to go – from a 20 mile ramble to the other side of the planet! Designed to be stable, comfortable and extremely reliable, our Thorn Sherpas are perfect for independent cycle touring in Wales and beyond.

After a long hibernation in a nearby shed, our local scrap metal man offered us a sorry-looking Peugeot tandem frame last year. Now lovingly-restored, our Peugeot Tandem is a sleek and speed-oriented vintage machine with the frame resprayed in Drover blue!

We only wish the Burley Kazoo tag-a-longs came in an adult version because judging by the smiles on kids’ faces when they get back from a ride, they are a blast! A trailer bike is an ideal way for younger riders to learn bike skills and road awareness, while staying safely behind you and under your control during the outing!
