What Mountain Bike got a thirst for adventure testing the fully-rigid and semi-fat Genesis Longitude, giving this all-terrain monster a four-star thumbs up in their review.
The Longitude is equally at home tearing up singletrack as it is on multi-day bike-packing adventures. Ample frame clearance means you can compensate for the lack of suspension by beefing up the rubber with some big 2.4″ tyres. The geometry is long and low for assured handling and stability.
All this adds up to a bike that is built for multi-terrain adventure – with a simplicity that is found lacking in bells and whistles full-suspension mountain bikes.
‘It’s a bike that’s happy to tackle anything in nature’s hills,’ they wrote. ‘Ride it around your local trails or the whole world.
‘This is a big fun, no frills adventure bike with great geo and intelligent spec.’
