If you’ve visited the shop recently you may have seen the centrepiece of our wall display high up above the counter – a Commencal Meta SX VIP frameset.
It’s doing a great job of looking lovely up there while it waits for the right customer to have it built up for them…. which got me thinking about what sort of build would suit it. A “dream build” if you like! Although I imagine everyone’s ideas would be different and to be honest, I couldn’t decide myself in several areas what would be the ideal spec. So… we’d love to hear whether you agree with this or whether you would choose differently!
Here’s what I came up with…..
Frame & Shock – Commencal Meta SX with 160mm Fox Float CTD Kashima
Fork – Fox 34 Float 160mm CTD with Trail Adjust
Wheels – Mavic Crossmax SX
Tyres – Schwalbe Hans Dampf 26×2.35″ Evolution Folding Pacestar (Rear) and Trailstar (Front)
Transmission – Race Face SixC Double Carbon Chainset, e*thirteen TRSR dual chain guide, XTR 11-34 cassette & 10-speed chain, F&R derailleurs, and shifters
Brakes – Hope Tech Evo M4, Braided Hose, Floating Rotors
Finishing Kit – Race Face SixC Carbon Bars, Atlas Stem, Rockshox Reverb Seatpost, SDG Bel Air Titanium Rail saddle, ODI lock-on grips
