For 2023, we have planned our most extensive and exciting fleet of rental bikes ever! Full details of all of the bikes will be posted here as we build them up, but here is a summary of what we will have available for hire this year.
Our Standard Mountain Bikes will be Marin Bobcat Trail 5s and we will have both 27.5″/650b and 29″ options in the fleet. As always we will have a full range of sizes to choose from and, like in previous years, we are upgrading a number of elements on the bikes to ensure the best possible riding experience for our guests. We supply pumps and bottles cages on all of the bikes, and helmets too – all included in your hire price.

Full Suspension Mountain Bike
Rounding off our MTB range we have Full-Suspension MTBs supplied by Mondraker. The Foxy with 150mm of rear travel and 160mm Rockshox forks, is a truly capable enduro/all-mountain bike and will be ideal for tackling the more challenging riding of the Brecon Beacons, or for visits to Black Mountain Cycle Centre, Bike Park Wales, or the other Trail Centres nearby.
E-Mountain Bikes
Hardtail E-mountain bike.
Our standard e-mountain bikes are the Mondraker Prime 29. Powered by Bosch Performance Line CX (25km/h) Smart System motors and Bosch Powertube 625Wh batteries, these bikes have the power to take you out for a big day in the hills. Spec includes Sram Eagle 12 speed groupset, hydraulic discs, Rockshox Recon 120mm fork, 29 ” wheels with 2.6 ” Maxxis Minion tubeless tyres.
The bikes with be fitted with a bottle cage and we will provide you with a pump and small toolkit.
Perfect for a big day our in the Brecon Beacons or Black Mountains. We do discounted weekly rates so why not have them delivered to your holiday cottage and have a car free week?

Mondraker Crafty
Specifications include Bosch’s Performance CX Line Smart Control motor, Bosch powertube 725Wh battery 160mm travel Fox Float fork, and tubless Maxxis Minion 2.6? tryes. The CRAFTY R is the most competitive total enduro ebike out there.
Gravel Bike
We have gravel bikes too, great fun to ride on the rough back roads and easier trails. These are Genesis Fugios, lightweight steel frames with carbon fork, and fat 650 x 47 tubeless tyres. They will come equipped with bottle cage, pump, and a small toolkit.
We can also supply bikepacking bags, if you fancy a few days of adventure. There are plenty of routes from our base in Hay out to Mid Wales, where you can find gravel roads and tiny back lanes to take you through the Cambrian Mountains and even to the west Coast.
Road Bike
For the road, we have a custom built fleet of Genesis Equilibrium Discs.
Touring Bikes
E-Leisure Bikes
Our standard E-bikes for 2023 are the Cube Supreme Hybrid EXC 625. These bikes have Bosch power tube 625 batteries, and Bosch performance drive 250 watt motors, so you will have power to ride all day. Belt drive and hub gears make it simple to ride. Completed with disc brakes, mudguards, rack and stand, these are perfect for a fun day out exploring Welsh Hills and backroads. This model has an easy to mount step-through type frame. Our bikes will come complete with a rack bag for taking your lunch or extra clothing with you.
