Pre-event info
14 days before the event you will receive a comprehensive pre-event information pack via email including route information, a kit checklist, directions to the start point together with information about signage, feed stations and relevant contact numbers. An update will be sent out 2 days before the event to reconfirm the details and alert you of any changes to start times / venues, weather conditions etc.

Food & Drink
Feed stations are a big part of the experience for us so be prepared for home-made cake, savoury snacks, Fairtrade tea and coffee as well as performance nutrition products from Shropshire experts Torq who produce a range of brilliant energy gels, bars and drinks.

Each sportive has at least two options of different lengths Рa short and a long route, if you will. Routes are designed to take in the best scenery the area has to offer while sticking to the quieter roads wherever possible. You can find route maps and downloadable gpx files for each sportive on the relevant event page. Routes are comprehensively waymarked with brightly coloured markers at each junction. So, as long as you keep your eyes open and pay attention, there’s barely any risk of going astray.

We will be using a chip timing system to offer you the best in terms of reliability and accuracy. Your time will available online as soon as the event finishes. Full rider times will be emailed to all riders within 24 hours of the event finish and also published on this site a few days after the event.

We will have a dedicated back-up team on hand including fully trained first aiders and bike mechanics. Feed stations will offer a selection of spares and tools including track pumps and work stands. If needed we have a broom wagon which will collect you and bring you back to the HQ. Contact numbers will be provided in the rider briefings.
