Another classy offering from Genesis:

The CdF is the little brother of the Genesis Croix de Fer cross bike. It is difficult to know how to describe these bikes; they sort of do it all! Comfortable enough for a full day in the saddle, ride much like a road bike on the tarmac and are bags of fun if you take them off the beaten track. Sure it’s not like riding a mountain bike when you take it off road and don’t expect to be able to tackle a full on downhill track on it but you’d be surprised by what you can handle; and you’re guaranteed to have a smile on your face!

The CdF comes with Shimano’s Sora level groupset, Avid BB5 mechanical disc brakes and a versatile set of dual sided pedals (flat on one side, spd interface on the other). The frame and fork are made of Reynolds 520 steel tubing and share the geometry of the more expensive Croix de Fer (which has 720 tubing and Tiagra level components).

£899 for a bike that will do it all….sounds like a deal to me. Get in touch to find out more or to take one for a spin.

Oh and did I mention that it looks stunning 🙂
