Day One Alfine 8

With a new, lower asking price without any sacrifice in performance, the Day One Alfine 8 has increased reliability, and even dropped a fair chunk of weight in the process too! The large volume 32c tyres are efficient, comfy and, thanks to their built-in breaker-belt, laugh in the face of the UK’s broken roads. For those a little more adventurous and eager to explore the path less travelled, the Day One will happily accommodate 35c knobblies and front and rear pannier racks.

Day One Discovery

When the Day One Disc Single-Speed was first conceived back in late 2010, ‘Single-Speed Cyclo-Cross’, as a term, didn’t really exist. Col du Glandon

The Col du Glandon is the smaller peak that sits to the side of the Croix de Fer.

The ‘in-betweener’ wheel size may well be the current hot trend in the mtb world, but Genesis have been thinking outside the box somewhat; adopting it as the ideal basis for an alternate format ‘jack-of-all-trades’ dropbar bike aimed at smaller/younger riders.
