We’ll be bringing a raft of demo bikes from acclaimed British brand Genesis to Hay Bike Fest in a week’s time.
Drover Cycles is an official Genesis demo centre and we’ve got a range of steeds on offer – both road and MTB.
The Genesis Equlibrium Disc – which is our bike of the month for April – combines the brand’s proven geometry and practicality with a traditional steel frame and lugged fork combo. Modern mechanical disc brakes create what just might the next generation of road bike. Traditionalists needn’t worry – we’ve got the non-disc Equilibrium on hand to demo, too.
The legendary Croix de Fer gets an upgrade with 931 tubing to create a posh Croix in lush, brushed stainless. This all rounder is equally at home on the road as it is hammering cyclocross trails.
And we’ll also have the Volare 20 – Genesis’ performance road bike. Its steel frame does a great job of dampening the typically harsh ride on UK roads. The bike is stiff enough to race, but comfy enough for all-day rides.
Finally, we’ve got Genesis’ high-end hard tail mountain bike, the High Latitude. Slack angles and big wheels create a fast-rolling and forgiving ride perfect for British conditions.
Remember that if steel isn’t your thing, we’ll also have the full range of Neil Pryde performance road bikes to demo.
All our demo bikes will be down at the Bike Fest hub in the grounds of Hay Castle. Check out the full Bike Fest programme here.
