This lightweight aluminium-framed bike has air shocks, hydraulic disc brakes and Shimano Deore 1 x 10 drivetrain. Perfect for kids just slightly too small for an adult mtb.
The 24 inch wheels on this lightweight bike make it suitable for kids of height 130cm to 150cm. With air shock, hydraulic disc brakes and 1 x 9 gears, the kids will find it easy to ride.
The Team 20 is for kids 5 to 7 years approximately. It is lightweight with aluminium frame and fork, hydraulic discs and simple 1 x 8 gearing. This is brilliant first “proper” mountain bike.
Tag-along and Trailers.
The Kazoo is great for kids who want to ride, but can’t manage much distance on their own. It can adjust for children from around 4 to 10 years old. It attaches to the adult bike with a ball joint on a special rack, so we need a little time to get the rack fitted.
We have a single and double Burley trailer, suitable for kids from 9 months up to around 6 years, with a maximum weight limit of 34kgs.(45 for the double) It also has a large cargo hold, so you can take a picnic and loads of spare clothing with you. It attaches quickly to any bike via the rear wheel axle.
The Thule child seat is ideal for babies over 9 months, and toddlers up to 5 or 6 years old. The seat is soft for cushioning the bumps, and has a 5 point safety harness, and adjustable foot rests.
It fits to a special rack, so we will need a little advance notice to get this fitted to the adult bike.
