Blue is the colour of legendary French brand Mavic’s 2015 as it partners up with the signature yellow!
We’ve just had the shop kitted out with a load of box-fresh new season Mavic goodies, including shoes, wheels, helmets and clothing.
Top picks for us are the Crossmax All Mountain MTB shoe – in black for 2015 as well as last season’s yellow; Mavic’s bombproof Crossmax XL wheels (£750 a pair) are an enduro rider’s dream; their Notch helmet (£80) adopts the new blue colour line for this season; and so to does the new Crossmax jersey and H20 lightweight waterproof jacket (£85) – ideal for those will-it-won’t-it spring rides where rain threatens.
While we’re at it, this is a great time to mention Mavic’s crash-replacement service.
Named ‘MP3’, the service offers a brand new replacement in the event of crash damage within two years of purchase, for a small upfront fee.
For example, sign up to the service and pay £8 when you buy a Notch helmet – and have it replaced new for old if you stack it within the next 24 months.
On a £720 Mavic wheelset, expect to pay around £54 for MP3 crash replacement peace of mind.
As well as all the new kit, remember we have a load of heavily-discounted Mavic clothing from our winter sale, including women’s cloud jerseys and jackets and men’s sprint jerseys and shorts – all at 30% off the RRP. Come in and have a rummage, or give us a call on 01497 822419 if you want to make a purchase over the phone.
To mark the arrival of fresh Mavic stock, we’re giving away a brand new Espoir helmet, in your choice of colour and size, worth £65.
The Espoir’s ‘Ergo Ride’ package features an ‘Ergo Hold’ retention package and removeable ‘Ergo Fit’ pads. It’s best suited to tarmac duties, but can double up for light off-road and XC riding if you’re looking for an all-rounder.
