Powys County Council’s twice-yearly window of opportunity to sign up to the Cycle to Work scheme opens on Monday for two weeks.

Cycle to Work uses a Government tax break which saves you up to 40% off the cost of a new bike and accessories worth up to £1000.

It also allows you to spread the cost of your purchase over 12-18 months.

Of course, bikes bought on the scheme don’t have to be used exclusively for commuting.

It means you can pick up a sleek new road bike or even a burly off-roader for a fraction of the RRP.

Head here for the full lowdown on Cycle to Work.

Meanwhile, check out these Cycle to Work bundles for road, leisure and mountain biking.
