Drovers-stocked stuff for roadies has been picking up praise in the trades this month.
First up, legendary saddlers Brooks get a four-star gong in Cycling Plus for their new Cambium C17 saddle (£105). They’ve swapped the leather the company is famous for and instead turned out a vegan-friendly perch made of vulcanised rubber infused with organic cotton.
Altura’s roadie clothing range also gets the going over in Cycling Plus. The mag says: ‘Altura’s usual great value kit without a poor product in its entire spring range.’
Finally, Cycling Plus bestow a four-star honour on Shimano’s Ultegra WH6700 wheelset. (£350) We checked them out at the bike fairs and were seriously impressed. ‘Our favourite, super-versatile workhorse,’ says the reviewer.
