Our burgeoning mountain bike demo fleet has been joined by a custom-spec Saracen Kili Flyer in a stunning Terminator-style black and silver finish!
UK brand Saracen have been busy reinventing themselves over the last couple of years, reaping accolades for their bikes – from budget hardtails to trail-slaying full-sussers – along the way.
We’ve built up the Flyer X frame to emulate the range’s top end Kili Flyer 123.
Singletrack magazine editor Chipps gave the 123 a thorough long-term testing and concluded: ‘The Kili Flyer is a bike that makes you want to get out of bed and ride. If you feel you need a bigger, better bike then you must be a very talented rider indeed.’ (Check out the full review here).
Meanwhile double world champ downhiller Manon Carpenter was so impressed with the mid-travel Flyer on a Pinkbike photoshoot, she declared: ‘If I could have only one bike, this would be it.’
Saracen slashed prices across the board on the Kili Flyer range for this season, bringing the 123 down to a wallet-friendly £2499.99, which buys you a weight-saving carbon rear end, Kashima coat Fox forks and shock and Deore/SLX groupset.
The mid-range Kili Flyer 122 also features the carbon rear, plus Fox suspension front and rear for just £1999.99.
And £1499.99 gets you the Kili Flyer 121, with Fusion forks, a Fox rear shock, and Shimano drive train and shifting kit.
We can also bring in a custom spec build on a carbon-rear Kili Flyer X frame (available frame only for £1599.99) for around £2500.
