kili flyer 123 2015

Saracen’s storming year of reinvention continues with another great review from one of the bike mags.

Their hardtails have been heaped with praise in 2014, but this time it’s the full-suspension Kili Flyer 123 under the spotlight, with an eight-month, long-term test write-up in Singletrack magazine.

The 123 is the top-end model in the British brand’s Flyer range, and comes with a weight-saving carbon rear end.

Singletrack editor Chipps said the 120mm of rear travel was ‘everything I’d need for a regular mountain bike ride, trail centre or enduro foray’ and praised the bike’s climbing prowess. ‘Lockout is rarely needed, apart from on endless mountain road climbs,’ he said.

Chipps was testing the 2014 model, but next year’s 123 will be available imminently and the price stays the same – £3199.
