What Mountain Bike have done a round-up of summer riding kit in this month’s issue, and it’s all about the shorts.
Mavic’s Crossmax shorts (£85) bag a four-star herogram. ‘Some shorts just feel right – and these do,’ say the testers. We’ve got a huge range of Mavic summer kit – for road and MTB – in the shop.
We also stock the Altura Summit shorts which share a 4-star What MTB gong with the Crossmax kit. Priced at £60 they come with a liner. ‘Something we would expect to be an afterthought at that price,’ say the mag. They’re available in red as well as the fetching neon yellow.
