MBUK pyga pascoe review - images

It looks like Pyga’s new 140mm-travel trail slayer, the OneForty650 Pascoe, has been doing the rounds at Immediate Publishing, home to What Mountain Bike mag and Mountain Biking UK.

While What MTB have gone for a ‘first look’ piece in their news section – praising the bike’s ‘future proof’ and ‘beautiful’ frame – MBUK went one better and hit the trails.

We’re glad to hear it didn’t disappoint, with the tester proclaiming the Pascoe ‘an outstanding full-gas fun machine’ and giving it four-and-a-half out of five stars to boot.

He wrote: ‘We just sprinted, braked, climbed and cornered at full gas without even thinking about the bike between us and the outstandingly clear but never noisy trail feedback.’

We’ve been backing Pyga – the new brand from South African design legend Patrick Morewood – since last year’s launch.

The Pascoe is their latest full-suspension offering, boasting an extra 20mm of rear travel over its stablemate, the Pyga OneTwenty. For big wheel fans, there’s also the OneTen 29er.

The Pyga OneForty650 Pascoe is available frame-only at £1799.

We also do custom builds starting at £2500.

Remember we have a couple of OneTwenty 650b models in the shop for you to demo and experience Pyga’s outstanding build quality first-hand.
