We’re going bananas here at Drover HQ over Mavic’s new 2014 clothing range where the emphasis in their Crossmax enduro kit is most definitely on yellow!
The French cycling brand – an industry stalwart with time-tested and proven reliability both on and off the road – has gone for a bold look with its Crossmax range. We’re stocking those fantastic Mavic Crossmax jerseys, as well as the shorts. Pair them up with Mavic’s Alpine XL shoe for unbeatable all-day trail comfort. For head protection we’ve got the Mavic Notch, natch.
On the roadie side, we’ve got the mid-range HC kit featuring body-mapped, ergonomic seams to reduce irritation and enhance motion when you’re pushing hard.
Bib shorts, jersey and windproof vest will see you right until the weather turns – then it’s time to pull out Mavic’s Sprint H2O jacket – fully seam-sealed, durable and waterproof to keep you dry in the wettest of rides.
Galibier and Peloton shoes scream racing DNA and Syncro helmets take care of skull protection duties.
Mavic also have kit for female riders – and so do we. For tarmac fans, we’ve got Mavic Cloud shorts and jerseys featuring wicking tech fabrics and airmesh inserts, as well as Giova shoes, with composite glass fibre and nylon outsoles for ultimate pedal power.
For off-road riding, they’ve eschewed the enduro yellow and gone for more soothing blues, pinks and purples. We’re stocking Meadow jerseys – with a loose cut and flatlock seams – and Meadow shorts featuring a removable, padded liner.
You can have a gander at the full Mavic range over at www.mavic.co.uk. If you see something you like that we don’t carry in-store, fear not – we can get it for you.
